MAGAs only see Trumpist news. It’s really shocking to hear their understanding and interpretation of world events in recent years.
A friend of mine was staying with a family in Montana recently, and she told me that they thought the big scandal of last year was the one involving…Michelle Obama (I would put a confused emoji here, but it would make light of just how WTF that notion is).

What’s interesting to me is that with this Ukraine scandal, the defence is completely incoherent. Because Trump himself is denouncing the whole thing as a witch hunt, fake news etc, while at the same time tacitly admitting to all the accusations against him. So Republicans’ defences are really all over the place, much more so than ever before.

I think Trump will lose an onion layer of support on this one, leaving only the more hardcore “Tell me how many fingers I can see, dear leader” MAGAs.
I don’t know what will happen to these hardcore guys as we proceed to the next phase (we’re probably at about phase 25 by now).

Please, not impressed after years of seeing the ones that claim that while their blind spots are painfully there for all to see.

One big blind spot comes from not realizing how even the parameters of the discussion are changed by the very media one thinks one should rely on.

And while it could be easy for me (by experience) to use the example of climate change, the example of the Benghazi terrorist attack is one that we should look here as a test.

are you OK with:
-Putting kids in cages?
-Putting people in concentration camps?
-Denouncing US intelligence while standing next to a hostile foreign Leader?
-Denying human influence on the climate, sabotaging efforts to do anything about it?
-Never, ever telling the truth about anything. (thousands of lies, about the dumbest things) Never, ever backing down from a lie, no matter how childish or inconsequential? cite
-Openly supporting alt-right/neo-nazi extremists?
-Putting in less hours than any other modern president?
-Profiting from forcing the secret service to stay at your own resorts?

In my eyes every one of these points are disqualifying on their own. Presidents resigned over less. Yet you are OK with ALL of them. Why?

• His remarks about his hot daughter.
