Please don’t give anything away about the new movie, I haven’t seen it yet, thanks.
Anyway, I watched ‘Fury’ a couple of nights ago and was discussing it with an online friend, I was wondering how realistic the battle scenes were as the tracer rounds looked like something out of Star Wars. He pointed out in real life the Germans used green tracer rounds while the Americans fired red, and in Star Wars the Empire fired green and the Rebels, red.
Its already clear that Lucas took a lot of inspiration from WW2 for the movie (the cockpit of the Millenium Falcon being like that of the B-29 bomber for one). Was this another example of that? Or just a coincedence?
