A “Superfan” of the Kansas City Chiefs has been arrested

I mean, I’d be able to pick him out of a lineup pretty easily. A semi-serious question: can he find a fair trial in Missouri? Or have years of living among fanatical football fans tainted my view?

Why wouldn’t the trial be fair? Because the jury loves him, or because they hate him?

Depends on how you feel about the Chiefs.

Why would a jury member be swayed just because they’re also a Chiefs fan? The guy committed armed robbery multiple times - this isn’t a case of boys being boys. As a Chefs fan myself, and as someone who knows plenty of other fans, our collective thought on the matter is generally “what a fucking idiot”.

Great Googly Moogly?

I’ll see myself out.

I’ve got the t-shirt to go with it.

But what about these powerful words: "He believes, and we believe, that when the final whistle blows and all of the facts are known that he is going to be redeemed in the eyes of his community, in the eyes of his fans, and in the eyes of the Chiefs Kingdom.” Shouldn’t he be given another chance? /s

I clicked on the link and thought the article title said “monkey laundering” for a second, and then thought, wait, that’s a wolf costume not monkey.

Oh, I saw about him on On Patrol

He’s not just a super fan. Bad guy.

That must be very uncomfortable to wear in summer. Good way to lose weight.

And the dry cleaning bills must be enormous! Why, it’s enough to drive a person to commit armed robbery!

Wait…

There are only 73,500 people on average attending each game, so 1/3 of 1 percent of the 2.1 million population of the area. It should be fairly easy to find 12 fair jurors from the 99.67% of the population who don’t attend Chief games.
