Both of your sons are now dead. It is hoped that you might realize how your own actions brought about their untimely (but highly satisfying) demise. Paying hard earned tax dollars in order to shrink your gene pool has been a genuine and personal pleasure. Please go ahead and identify yourself to any American forces in Iraq so that similar services might be rendered in the future. We look forward to any such opportunity.
I know this sounds stupid… But do you think he’s sad? Or does he think that they were heroes and died a “good death” and is happy that they are where ever they would go after death as good Muslims? Do you think he thinks they are having a great time with their “virgins”? Or do you think he’s devastated? Do you think he’s weeping his heart out?
You’re very brave for posting that here. In the minds of some people who post here, acknowledging the possibility that Saddam Hussein might be human… well, let’s just say you may as well have just personally gassed 30,000 Kurds. Good luck.
Two consecutive threads of you taking great glee and pleasure in the death of other human beings. I have not shed any tears for Uday or Qusay or Idi Amin, but somehow, to actually sit back and wring my hands and compose ‘hilarious’ OPs about their demise seems a bit…monstrous and brutal on your part. They were and in the case of Idi, STILL assholes who committed limitless atrocities, but I won’t lower myself to the level their followers or supporters may assume I would by dancing in the streets and laughing in the faces of say…one of Saddam’s teenage grandchildren who may have also been killed in the gunfight today.
I’m a bit too upset at the loss of their humanity BEFORE they died. In my opinion, their death releases them from some serious mental and psychological issues as well as sparing further damage to innocents in their countries.
Just doesn’t seem to be the cause for a party. Haven’t enough fucking people suffered and died in the past two years to make it not funny anymore?
The people who are rejoicing over their supposed deaths are just as bad as anyone dancing in the streets over an Americans death in the Middle East or elsewhere. I’m not saying that we should be mourning then in the streets, but a human life is a human life.
That’s vile. And outrageous. How dare you? I posted a query, something that crossed my mind. That, in absolutely no way whatsoever, makes me a mass murderer. And you’re telling me that posting a question puts me on par with a killer?
I wondered how Saddam would feel about his sons’ deaths, though not about the religious angle. From the Atlantic Monthly article about him in May 2001, it seems as though his professions of faith were more PR moves that anything.
Did Saddam get bad news from a messenger? Was he forced to wonder anxiously whether they’d survived? Does he wonder if they suffered? Does he wonder what’s going to become of their remains? Has it occurred to him that all this might have been avoided if he hadn’t spent decading putting thousands of people in the situation he’s in now?
S/he is NOT saying telling you that posting your question puts you on par with a mass murderer. S/he is saying that some people on the board would see it that way.
Once the firefight got into full swing I could just picture Uday and Qusay screaming “Don’t you know who my father is? You’re going to be in serious trouble”.
It’s okay, Heloise. It would’ve made more sense if you’d realized I was preempting this and this sort of thing, which was bound to happen any second. I just thought I’d get it out of the way.
AFAIK, they surrendered their “humanity” when they decided they had the right to torture, rape and kill whoever they wanted whenever they wanted, and proceded to do so to hundreds of thousands of innocent people. I love this board. If this was 1945, we’d have people saying how terribly sad Hitler’s death was, because “he’s a human being too”.
Calling Idi Amin or Saddam’s sons “human” is a really big stretch, but I’ll try and work with you on this.
One question please. Who’s wringing their hands? It isn’t me, and neither am I rubbing my palms together and gloating. “Monstrous?” “Brutal?” Get a fucking clue! Collectively, these beasts gleefully slaughtered HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE! They turned their nations into charnel houses. These rotters took pure delight in the abject suffering and humiliation of others. Yet, it is I who am “monstrous” and “brutal” to cheer their shuffling off of this mortal coil? Oh, woe is me!
Starting two threads at a Internet forum lowers me to the same level as some particularly vicious mass murderers? Whoa Nellie, your ability to assay the deeds of others is truly impressive. As to any teenagers who willingly associated with Odai or Qusai, I can only say one thing; “You pay’s your money and you takes your chances.” Talk about being with the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time.
“Loss of humanity BEFORE they died?” What in the blue blazing fuck are you talking about? Odai and Qusai took great delight in torturing and degrading people. Odai personally executed helpless prisoners in order to win his father’s favor. Qusai cheerfully raped any pretty bride or young girl he happened across. They didn’t lose their humanity, they joyously abandoned it in orgies of depraved violence. The release of death was far too kind for these scum bags. They needed decades of solitary confinement to reflect upon their miscreant behavior. Instead, these two got off extremely easy. A few weeks of being on the run and hunted like wild animals is scant payment for their evildoing. As for Idi Amin, that horror on two legs makes Odai and Qusai look like boy scouts.
Go cry in your fucking beer for all I care. The world became a better place today and if Idi Amin dies tomorrow, it will be even better yet. I have not the least shred of pity, sympathy or tolerance for those who willingly rob human beings of every last vestige of dignity. So far as I am concerned, the quicker we rid this world of such thugs and despots the better off we’ll all be. I’ll happily dance upon their graves and gladly shake the hands of their executioners. Save for such horrid and base cretins, this world could make centuries of progress in mere decades!
I’ll reserve any condolences I have for their victims and not one iota of pity for such filthy wastes of skin.
