Mimi - I was in the shower, and she was VERY upset that there was water and she couldn’t come in with me.
Our unnamed kitty - taken when he lived on the boat with my sweetie. He looks the same now - except a little fatter.
Our yard is fenced for our dogs, so at first she would go out and stay within the fenced part. The gates are high enough she can crawl under them, but I didn’t let her go out of the fenced yard (we have another part of the yard not fenced - it’s mostly garden) until I was confident she wouldn’t run off. She has started off in pursuit of birds/squirrels a few times, but she realizes she won’t get them that way and stops after 10-20 feet. She is actually pretty good about staying close. She does like to go under my huge rambler rose where I can’t get her (too prickly), but other than that she’s a good girl.
Sometimes I wish I hadn’t let her out - she wants to go out all the time now and I won’t let her be out alone or when I can’t pay 100% attention to her. But she enjoys it so much. She usually rolls around, eats grass, or sniffs things.
Ooh! Ooh! Kitty pics! Go here and choose “daithi.” Get to see our Princess and Jelly and Baby and Goldie!
Hey, your Skitzo looks like a smaller version of our Seth!
Okay, I am attempting to learn how to upload pictures to the web - here is my first attempt:
Sunbathing beauties. Feather is my grey and peach calico, and Max is Jim’s black and orange calico.
A peck on the cheek can really make your day. So say Gus and Max.
Okay, here’s a good look at my girlie, Feather, hanging out in the closet. Cause, you know, who wouldn’t want to hang out in a closet?
Oh, and Not a Tame Lion and Seren - AWWWWWW!
Last one (for now - MUWAAHAHAHA! Erm, excuse me - just slipped out.)
Max being very cat.
Fred right after her piano lesson.
Cats are awesome! Thanks to everyone for sharing their kitties.
Him’s not fat, him’s fluffy.
Check out his giant feet! When he runs through the house, it sounds like a herd of toddlers.
Me and Smokey last month is the pic on the right
All right, my bad ass rep is definitely shot now. Dammit.
But yeah, I took some new pictures tonight.
Here’s Jules and Vincent (fltr), lounging away on the folded up spare bed next to the computer.
(The “Always be where mommy is, there might be food”-approach.)
Here’s out pretty Vincent on the floor of the bedroom.
Poor little bastard has to have surgery this Wednesday - his right rear knee cap keeps sliding off. The surgery is pretty straightforward (apart from the price ), but he’ll have to sleep in a cage for 6 weeks. No jumping, no running. He’s already 5 kilograms - I wonder what six weeks of cage rest will do to him.
Jules, relaxing under the laundry rack.
They’re terribly sweet cats, always trying to be as close to Heloise as they can. If possible, all over her. They’re also very fond of giving her kisses, for some reason. We didn’t teach them, they’ve just always done it. We live in an apartment, so the outside world is limited to the balcony, which they love. Spotting birds is an exciting hobby.
Also, lots of bug catching indoors. Very lively cats, with a sweet nature. They do fight at times, with Jules being the more agressive cat, even though Vincent outweighs him by at least a kilo. I think he senses his brother is “slower” because of his knee.
He’s got another thing coming after the operation.
BTW, it’s interesting to see the differences in cats. Ours are yer standard European shorthairs, no special breed. Alley cats.
American cats, even the alley version, look “different” somehow. I dunno, the ears, bone structuere. I’ve noticed this as well in cats I’ve seen over here that Americans brought along from the States.
Not huge differences, but a little genetic gap nonetheless.
They ‘meow’ differently too
=^.^=
This is Sally aka FuzzyButt
Notice the yellow eyes, bending your will to her neferious demands. I’ll be back, I have the sudden urge to go buy a case of Pounce.
My Emma.
Note the matching purse. She’s a stylish sort of kitty.
