I thought up some really good sticky thoughts, I finally managed to pull them out of my brain (they were very sticky) and stick them onto the computer screen (they kept sticking to my fingers) so now I have sticky all over my hands. Best wishes, TokyoPlayer!

I never can see anything in those ultrasound pictures, but for the first time ever I see something! Only, I’m not sure if I’m supposed to be seeing strongbad.

Wonderful! Keep going, Beta-chan! Sticky thoughts and prayers and everything. I was just wondering last night how things were going for you three.
Morning sickness is miserable (I had it for, oh, forty weeks or so). I hope she feels better soon, and I wonder if her doctors have ever themselves had flu for several weeks? So they know how it feels? I don’t know if it’s available in Japan, but I was put on Diclectin, which is an antihistamine and vitamin B6 combined. It helped a lot.

My wife is feeling better today. She slept a lot, and we had our house cleaned. I took the suggestions from here and made some ginger and lemon tea, which she liked.
She told her mother, a world-class worrier, who promptly launched into all the things she shouldn’t do. Taiwan has scores of taboos for pregnant women.
