Well it’s that time of year again. The triumph of hope over experience. The last chance to make or break a season - or more usually pick up a couple of loans from the dutch second division.
So far - 11 hours into the window - nothing has happened (Boumsong doen’t count). So who’s coming and who’s going at whatever club you have the misfortune to follow.
As I was very bad in a previous life I am a Spurs fan and for us the primary target is a winger - likely candiddates are Wiilemson at PSV (who want silly money), Mark Van Bommel (quite likely IMHO), and maybe someone like routledge at Palace (hope not). I’d quite like us to put in a cheeky bid for Giggs - he’s out of contract in the summer and you never know!
We’re Ok for keepers, the defence is pretty good and we have three top quality strikers, it’s just our midfield that needs sorting out.
I’m anticipating a bid for Defoe from Chelscum, which we will turn down unless it’s for a mental amount of cash. The filth also have their eye on Deadly Ledley - but they’re both on long contracts so I hope they’re not going anywhere.
