Looks like I wasn’t the only person to find Dead Ringers strange. Here’s a couple more for your list:

Fear and Loathing really fell flat for me. Depp as The Good Doctor? There’s casting against type, and then there’s just making the wrong choice. Ever seen Mr. Thompson? He’s an imposing fellow, not the skittering little critter we see on the screen.
If you’ve never read Thompson’s stuff, it may work for you, but if you’re a fan, I can’t recommend it.
Has anyone mentioned Reversal of Fortune, starring Jeremy Irons as Claus von Bulow? My favorite line is when he’s getting into the car and Dershowitz says, “You’re a strange man, Mr. von Bulow” and Claus replies simply, “You have no idea.”
Oh I agree completely. I hated FaLiLV, but the OP didn’t ask for good movies.
