a very minor pitting.

this is annoying.

isn’t this annoying? and it’s not like it takes much work to fix. the shift key is right there!

and yes, i’m a pedant with a bug up his butt about nothing. i just see this, and some grammar-respecting part of my brain starts complaining.

Fuckin A

Aw, MAN! Stupid code. That was supposed to be in all caps, but apparently new smart-tech code auto-case-changed it, changing my lame joke into something inscrutable.

Hmm. Maybe the code was looking out for me after all. I like being inscrutable.

I don’t know if it’s unique to Mac keyboards or not, but the last several Macs I’ve had pretty much require me to do a one-fingered hand stand on the shift key to get a cap. I have very strong pinkies as a result. Show pity on the occasional small case.

But if consistent, well - carry on with your minor pitting.

try working in montreal’ where lazy typists not only forget capitals’ they forget if they?re using a french or english keyboardÉ odd punctuation ensuesÉ

what’s annoying? i have no idea what the op is talking about. and what is a “shift key”???

this would have been funnier if you had posted;

That would probably work better without the double quotes and question marks.

my point exactly1

mehitabel thinks so too.

how can people do this. do they know what they’re doing. do you know what drives me absolutely insane the most. it’s the lack of freakin’ question marks. where have all the question marks gone. you all can understand me, right. can we please address this issue once and for all. duh.

Maybe I can be the first to point out that the OP might work better as “a very minuscule pitting”. Please tell me nobody got that one first.

Their vs. they’re.

We’re vs. were.

Lay vs. lie.

Too vs. to vs (on occasion I’ve seen) two.

e.g. vs. i.e.

Apostrophies in a word describing two of one object.

And for the love of God… Never, ever, EVER use the word “axe” instead of “ask”.

Off topic? Maybe.

The plural of apostrophe is apostrophes.

I know… My not so funny joke.

Wait, I thought I put horrible spelling mistakes on that list right before that. I forgot… So that is now my even less funny joke.

Thats OK.

Not to mention random *'s.

Oh yeah? Since when did ‘disappear’ get transitively verbed? And smoke doesn’t flash, it puffs.

How does one disappear a flash of smoke? Smoke is very difficult to make disappear!

Really, my beef is using 9’s and 0’s instead of ('s and )'s.
You know who you are!!

There’s a relatively new error ,one I’ve only started seeing lately .To wit ,the Case of the Hopping Punctuation Spaces .What’s with that ,anyway?
