Forgot to ask: do you understand the signatures of my posts?
If yes, then why don’t you learn from it?

Please don’t assume all people from the middle east, or France or whatever star he’s from agree with him!!
Yikes.
(Am I allowed to say something in another language on here or not? I can’t recall.)
Milroj, on other forums where I post the rules say that insulting peoples religion or other beliefs or non-beliefs is a violation of the rulings.
I don’t know if it is here the same.
Yet I would like you to refrain from those comments. Thank you.

Blonde,
Where I live the structure of helath care isn’t the same as whre you are.
Besides: I don’t need “health assurance”.
But in my opinion many people on this forum are in great need of mental health care.
If they can’t pay for it, as is obvious when reading their postings, my compassion is greater then you can imagine.
Thus I help where I can and how I can.

Is there such a thing as kosher salami? I’d bet that would be really good!
Kosher is how Jewish people call their food.
Muslims call that halal.
Someone who doesn’t append it in the vain hope of making a point.
No shit, Sherlock
Here we go again with the delusions of grandeur. It’s getting old, Aldebaran.
Quit while he’s ahead? He’s still trying to jumpstart his argument.
Is that really why you’re here, Aldebaran? Your compassion for us is greater than we can imagine?.
Oh!! I understand now - you are here to help us!
Can you give me the Texas winning lotto numbers for tonight’s drawing?
Pick the wrong numbers, and you’re banned from the board.
Of course.
Pick those you want in the range from 1 to the highest permitted and fill in your form.
Always good enough for some mements of dreaming.
And what is more pricesless then the ability to dream?
No shit, Sherlock.

Petter, my compassion for you is indeed greater then you can imagine.
Well that didn’t work! What happened to Aldebaran’s post that I was responding to? I am crazy, but not crazy enough to talk to myself, just yet.
Must’ve clicked on the wrong post by accident.
Didn’t some other guy once come here to conduct “experiments” on us, once? If only I could remember his name…
Um. Yeah.
But I think you should use the full quote.
nostrae vitae, nostrae mortis,
nostri status, nostrae sortis
fidele signaculum.
So Flemish and Dutch (which are kinda close), and French, English. Which are the other six languages? I’m comfortable with three, I can still read German, but with some effort. French is totally gone, but I could - maybe - pick it up again. I can understand Italian and Portuguese, with effort, if reading or if listening to someone who speaks slowly, but that’s my limit.
And is it my understanding that you are a student both of History and Philology or linguistics?

Ald, your problem is that you misunderstand people shooting down your dumbass arguements for them attacking you. You presented ridiculously stereotypical beliefs.
Cut the self-righteous bullshit.
Well actually in all it is more then ten if I count the medieval forms with them.
And I certainly don’t count English among the languages I would dare to say that I master. I never studied it to begin with and my vocabulary and knowledge of the grammar is extremely limited.
The language study was a necessity to do my other studies. Where I studied, you have to master at least 3 European languages to get enrolment. For the Medieval history I had to add also their medieval forms in order to be able to start with paleography.
I’m not exactly a student any more :). I took the decision for the research for that doctorate to keep in touch with what formed always the focus of my interests.
I’m just in love with the sound of Portuguese, but didn’t came to study it so far. It isn’t that difficult to read it if I make the effort and use a dictionary though.
Do you really want a listing? It is a bit ennoying because people here attacked me already because I wrote four words French With grammer failior included since Dyslexia took over in an unguarded moment. Which is for a linguist always surprizing when he discovers his own mistakes, yet doesn’t see them the moment he makes them.

I assume your mother was a woman too. Do you also claim to be an expert on women?
Ryle,
Your problem and that of others like you is that you are stucked in schoolkid mentality.
I’m so for you that I’m not.
Salaam.
Aldebaran.
Nealla,
I sign my own death penalty I dared to claim I’m an expert on women. I’m married. I suppose that all married men here will understand what I mean.
And by the way: where do you see a sentence where I write I’m an expert on Christianity, even when it is Catholicism.
Study of Christianity (comparitive Islam/Christianity) and study of Christian history (for Islamic History and European History both) is what I did.
Salaam. Aldebaran
