The problem isn’t my political philosophy so much as it is the way that I’ve chosen to defend it, and frankly now that the heat of battle has died down, I can see some legitimacy in the things Rubystreak, lissener, et. al have said. What appeared to me at the time to be aggressive and insulting yammering turns out to have been an honest attempt to reach out and have a discussion…the irony of which is that it’s the seeming impossibilty of having honest discussions around here that has caused me to adopt this style in the first place.
So, my apologies to liirogue and Zoe and to those of you who made a good faith effort at honest discussion.
Now it’s my turn to say that I won’t likely post to this thread again. It’s been taking up too much of my time and it’s pretty much run its course anyway. If anyone else wants to offer positive or constructive comments, please know that I’ll see them even if I don’t respond. If on the other hand you just want to stir up more shit, go take a deep leap into a shallow pond!
