(She’s a new, up and coming singer, very pretty and soulful voice, actually fully worth of a Grammy)
Very talented young singer/piano player in the jazz-blues-country-singer-songwriter vein. Very understated production. Daughter of Ravi Shankar. Her song of the year was written by Jesse Harris, another very talented songwriter who once had a wonderful unsung group/album called Once Blue.
Xtremely rare - wanting someone to win who actually wins.
And wins big. (Getting back to work now…)
