Where’s that smilie where you click your cheek twice, wink and point at the person with both hands. My last post needs that badly.

Wow! Seventy-four pages.

Yes, the range of smilies offerec is sadly inadequate. Where’s the evil smirk smilie?

Zones of people who have not entered this thread have very little idea how many pages we’ve got since the front page only lists till 5.

About how many posts per page are there?

B seems to be slowing down now: are the hamsters just sleepy, or is the length of this thread weighing on them?

Correction: that ‘b’ should be ‘board’. <sigh> Clearly I need to go to bed now.

Definitely I must go to sleep, since I’m reduced to talking to myself.

Exactly 50, IIRC.

Eleusinian rites must be performed soon.

Go on: look it up. At least it’s a different word for E.

Fabulous! A signal has been received from a distant galaxy! I am not alone!

(Hi, Smeghead! So we’ve perpetrated 3700+ posts, have we? Stellar!)

Glabella. You have one. I have one. Everyone has one.

Hargh! I hate being alone and at work! At this rate the name Lobsang is going to be the ‘Last Post’ of every damn message on this board.

It’s not this thread that was slowing down, it was the whole board. Weird, It’s been a long time since a thread had more posts them myself.

Just my opinion that is though.

Keeping in mind the state of words on this board I can’t decide if the last post will be a W or a Y.

Long time it’ll be before any other thread passes this one.

My belief is that such a thread will never happen again.

Noble ending we must plan for this thread. Something suitable, to go out on a bang.

One idea I had was to devote the last 26 pages, one by one, to posts purely by one letter. As in, all posts of page 75 would start with A, all of page 76 with B, 77 C, and so forth up to page 100 being all Z.

Positively this would be more challenging with some pages than other. Page 98, all X, would be especially tricky – or maybe boring, as we all babble about Xeroxing our Xylophone music.

Quiet has fallen over the world of ‘A’ yet again.
