AAA, I liked the Eine Kleine Nachtmusik....the first few times...

…but when I’m on hold for a half hour and you play the Allegro and ONLY the Allegro over and over and over and over again, I’m starting to think you’re mocking me. When you put me on hold again and I hear it AGAIN, I’m ready to beat you over the head with a violin when you come back on the line.

Hows about a little variety? That’d be great, thanks.

My bank have taken a fantastic tactical move - they now play you Satie’s Gymnopedies, which lull you into a compliant stupour, and then offer you a pre-approved loan even though you didn’t ask for it.

That’s just wrong. Beyond the Allegro, the other parts are so beautiful, including my fave, the Rondo. Just the same, any part of K525 taken to excess can cause sideways mindshift. :Mozart smiley:

At least you get Mozart. My insurance company insists on stirring renditions of each of the four service branches’ anthems performed in a suitably military style. I don’t know whether to swear or salute.

“Eine Kleine Nactmusick” has more than one part? I thought it was only one part, hence “a little bit” of night music. Could someone list the others?

  1. Allegro.
  2. Romance. Andante.
  3. Menuetto. Allegretto.
  4. Rondo. Allegro.

An error in the translation of its actual title, “A Shitload of Night Music,” has thrown off millions of listeners worldwide.

I remember the days when they would put you on hold and not play music at you, so you could watch TV or talk to people or something. It’s gotten so bad that when I called the admissions office at the school I’m applying to, I was told (by the computer, of course) that I was NOT being hung up on during the few seconds of blessed silence that accompanied my call being transferred somewhere…
