Aaaaaaaargh! *choke* *hack* *koff*

The weather has finally warmed up (and dried up) enough in my locale, and we’ve finally got decent bicycling weather. I’ve been itching to take my road bike out for a few weeks now.

Naturally, as this improvement in the weather has come about, I’ve simultaneously developed a nasty head & chest cold and my lungs are full of phlegm. Yeah, I can bike with that

Dammit!

You have my sympathies. I’m going through a terrible lurgy at the moment as well: I’ve even taken TWO days off work this week, which is so totally not my style.

However, getting out on the road might do you the world of good really. Keep yer’ visor up (you DO wear a helmet, yes?) and let the wind’s onslaught clear your airways and blow all the viruses and cobwebs in your system off to Kingdom Come. I am serious that it might be the best thing for you.

Don’t take any meds beforehand though that might affect your alertness of course etc…just get on your bike and find a long, straight highway where you can open up the throttle and clear the shit outta’ your system.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Bicycling?** Shit, missed that first time 'round. When one says ‘road bike’ here in Australia, they generally mean one of the motorised kind.

Oh, well, forget all of the above except for my sympathy bit.

Yah, it’s this one here - Lung power required
