Aaron Rogers on Celebrity Joepardy

(Not sure if this goes in CS or game room)
Aaron won 1st place and earned $50,000 for the MACC (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) Fund. with a score of $8399

Some decent videos at jeopardy.com - he didn’t get “Harley & Davidson”?

Brian

I had to Google who Aaron Rogers even is.

Celebrity Jeopardy is about as difficult as “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?”

Also, I couldn’t find any videos of him at Jeopardy.com.

Interesting to admit not knowing who Aaron Rodgers is (in The Game Room, natch), and then make fun of the difficulty level of Celebrity Jeopardy. Also, to find the videos, you click on the giant Celebrity Jeopardy graphic, then there’s a “Main Menu” menu, from which you can select “Videos”. Rodgers is listed in three of the seven videos shown.

It was funny to watch him the whole show and see how competitive he was. You could tell he really wanted to win and got so mad at himself when he was wrong.

Glad he won though. Go Pack Go!

Did he do the Discount Double-Check gesture?

No but Alex did it during the interview segment.

… and Aaron busted him for it and told him to come up with his own celebratory gesture. From what I read the audience was at first stunned, then broke out in laughter at his apparently dry sense of humor.

I loved seeing the smug asshole from The Shark Tank fail miserably.

Rodgers always struck me as a guy who probably could have gotten into Cal even without the football thing.

I don’t know if it’s included in the videos and/or you saw it, but one of the more amusing parts was when Rodgers just completely blew the category about famous Cal alumni, including missing which computer company Steve Wozniak left Cal to start in a Daily Double.

He did dominate the Bible category, and I’m sort of surprised I don’t see all sorts of Facebook links today about how great a Christian Aaron Rodgers is.

Yeah, he was pretty bad. I don’t watch the show he’s on but he sure didn’t come off looking very good last night!

Neither did I. And I’m usually pretty good at “Final Jeopardy.” I was thinking “The Wright Brothers” the same as the astronaut did. In my defense, A) I’m not into motorcycles or the culture of motorcycling AT ALL, and B) those early 1900s photos of “Harley” and “Davidson” don’t look much like what I think of “bikers” looking like nowadays!

His current girlfriend is a hot, loud atheist. Kinda messes up the narrative.

Did I mention she’s hot?

Skipped the entire episode because I didn’t care about any of the contestants. Hell, I didn’t know who two of them were (Shark Tank guy and some football player.) Tonight features Mo Racca and John Berman, so I’ll definitely be watching. even though I usually watch Robin Meade in the morning instead.

Friday looks like an interesting match up; Penn Jillette and Zachary Quinto (and someone I’ve never heard of).

Fixed your title for you.

Not entirely.

Agree. I mean, agreed.

She is?

Hot? Yes. But atheist? Wikipedia has this:

And did I mention she’s hot?

Boy, I really messed up the title.

For those (like me) who did not see the show, here are the clues / guesses

I thought these were a bit difficult for Celebrity Jeopardy

This is an interesting parallel since Aaron is widely known as being a STAUNCH Christian, so it would be surprising that he would be dating someone who isn’t.

Normally if you’re as serious about your faith as Aaron is you would want to be with someone romantically who is also faithful. Maybe the post (that I didn’t quote) is true and she did convert recently
