Well, now you know how other members of this board feel when they see another one of your posts.
Nevertheless, hope you can ride out the storm without damage, especially so since it seems unlikely that your beloved Trump administration seems unlikely to be of much assistance.
And stay safe. Whatever happens to your business is going to happen.
Do what you can (early) but don’t go down with the ship. We’ve recently had some serious flooding in Kansas City and a few business owners put their lives at risk trying to salvage their business equipment. Not worth it.
Fill a bathtub and leave it full. You never know what you may need the water for later (and flushing a toilet with bottled water is a pain, to say the least).
I wouldn’t worry about it. The Hurricane Prediction Center is run by the same people who are trying to tell us that human activity is warming up the planet.
Follow the example of the Cajuns, have a nice party (Seriously, a good buzz will make riding out a hurricane easier). Hurricanes are just a fact of life on the Gulf. At least, there’s more warning for them than for tornadoes.
Serious question: Has Trump named a FEMA director yet? Because I was under the impression that seven months in the position was still one of many unfilled.
What’d you do the last time you had damage you couldn’t afford and insurance didn’t pay for, Mr. Bootstraps? Ask for handouts, I believe?
FTR, I don’t giggle about your threads, I marvel at your extensive duplicity and moral ambiguity, disgusted by your claims of conservative superiority. You are who people picture when thinking of hypocritical conservatives. If you had set out to hurt the conservative ideals you could not have planned a more divisive approach than you already take.
Yeah, and it is an absolute exception to his administration: a competent individual. That’s such a rarity, it’s kind of incredible. Maybe he figured that after Michael Brown broke Bush’s back, he didn’t want to repeat that mistake.
Keep your computer plugged in. Please. For our sake.
Best wishes from elsewhere in the Hurricane Belt, Clothy. Good advice so far, do whatever you can to protect yourself and your home and the business’ windows and watch out mainly for flooding damage, it is the biggest cause of loss.
