I know, I know, I get that same feeling when I watch Celebrity Jeopardy.
Yeah, and on Monday they had the WWF edition of The Weakest Link.
Typical question: “What October holiday celebrates the discovery of America by Europeans?”
Typical answer: “Thanksgiving”
OK, some of them did OK, but the questions were clearly dumbed down:
“In math, what is 4 divided by 2?”
Actually, the wrestlers seemed to be doing better than most of the brain trusts they usually get on there. I only watched it for a couple of minutes but they had $15,000 banked in that short time.
And I remember watching Norm McDonald on WWTBAM - he rolled right over the rest of the group! Wasn’t he the only one to get to the final question - and got it right even though he walked? Just goes to show you need real brains to do comedy.
