Oh no, he’s dead? That’ll screw up all my arrangements.
RIP, Abe.
I’m an age where I barely remember Barney Miller. But I remember him coming out for short silent gags on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and…
…at some point we stopped expecting him to die.
As mentioned earlier, he was underused. The man had superlative comic timing (and was just as convincing in dramatic roles). RIP.
Actually, the link to the song has been there all along (for many years, at least).
So long, and thanks for all the Fish
For Crying Out Loud!
I had been planning to use that joke for ten years now.
How could you possibly be so cruel?
Will you retract your post?
I really think you should retract your post!
What?
You too?
Oh … Say it ain’t so!
You’ve obviously checked the site more regularly than the one time I have.
RIP Fish
I thought he was immortal. Sad to be proven wrong.
I sure liked him.
RIP Mr. Vigoda.
The only member of the old guard to make it to Godfather II.

“That’s Levitt, Sir.”

Inspector Luger
Luger’s conducting the roll call. He’s the one who called Levitt “Levine.”
And, of course, Barney himself.
Was he the only person from the movie to do a voice for the Godfather video games?
I know that Brando was paid but his voice had to be redubbed because he was weak and didn’t sound like himself.
Somewhere there is a painting of very young Abe…and it has never aged.
Whoops, Hal Linden is NOT dead. This is the second time in as many days that I thought someone was no longer with us but was wrong.
He appeared in Dark Shadows in the early 70’s and he looked old then.
