You prefer the label Pro-Life because you feel it accurately represents your views, we prefer Pro-Choice because it we feel it accurately represents our views.
When we call each other names we know are insulting it adds nothing to the discussion.
Nobody has yet persuaded you that abortion is A-OK, but you have agreed that in certain circumstances it is acceptable, permissible and should be available legally and safely.
You haven’t chosen to become engaged in a discussion about what, exactly, those circumstances are or how they could be determined or enforced.

I think for all the rhetoric in these threads what it always seems to boil down to is that some {many? most?} pro life supporters believe that an embryo is just as much a person/baby, as a newborn and in need of protection. They believe it is the responsibility of the woman who got pregnant to carry to term regardless of how it affects her life {with the possible exception of a life threatening pregnancy}
I guess they also think it’s the government’s job and obligation to try and prevent this , {although, most don’t seem to want it treated as murder even though they use those terms} I have to wonder how aggressively they want this prosecuted , since we pretty much know that abortions will continue and making them illegal and harder to get will affect the poor much more than the affluent.
I guess I can wrap my head around the idea that women being compelled to carry to term, and doctors and women being charged with something is okay if it results in saving lives {in their view}
It seems to me that there is also some attitude of the innocence of these “babies” some carries more importance than the lives of the woman.
Personally I think the “sanctity of human life” argument fails when people work so hard to try and keep women from having abortions and having them available and safe. but do little to promote the sanctity of life with real people in need and real children who already need their help. I can respect folks like Bricker who make a effort to offer real world alternatives to women considering abortion. IMO, that honors the potential life, and the life of the woman as well.

But why is it OK just because the mother will die? The fetus is, to you, a completely innocent human being. Why are you picking the life of the person who you have previously blamed for the situation, the mother, over the life of another who carries no blame in your mind?

I don’t know why I bother. As I said a million fucking times an ectopic pregnancy must be ended because both the mother and the baby will die.
In situations where the mother’s life is at risk the pregnancy must be ended because the baby may die anyways in that kind of an environment and the mother cannot expect to give up her life own life to save the child.
She can be expected to carry on a normal pregnancy.
