My DD is using “Pop’s Bass Rosin”, which comes in an orange cup.
Originally, there was a paper cup that held the rosin, but that got torn up pretty quickly when she peeled the paper away to rosin the bow. Without the paper cup , it can be very hard to get the rosin out of the cup and/or out of the cup in one piece. I found some new paper cups (at the chinese buffet nearby), but now she’s back to having to tear up the paper cup to get the rosin.
I remember my sister’s rosin from years ago, and it was a solid that she kept in her case. Other than that, I have no rosin experience.
Is there a better way to get this rosin in and out of the cup? This rosin is very soft. I’d imagine if I left it on the table, it would go from lump to pretty flat in a day.

Does this help? Evidently it’s supposed to be soft and sticky, and I’m not personally familiar with an “easy” way to deal with any substance that’s soft and sticky.
