Abrupt edit cut during Regis and Kelly 8/12

There was an abrupt edit cut today during the host chat between the discussion of bastards and tipping. The opening sequence also had faint white words indicating the show was previously recorded. (i.e. not live)

I’m in Central, did anyone on the East coast catch the missing footage? Did Kelly have a wardrobe malfunction? Did some wacko charge onto the stage? Did husband Mark do something inappropriate? What did I miss??? :confused:

Hmm, either we don’t get a lot of Regis and Kelly viewers, or they did the cut on the East coast, too?

I was watching in Eastern Time, and I don’t remember seeing anything inappropriate. It was about the same time that I decided to dry my hair though, so I might have missed something.
