Because over the course of time, the SDMB staff has found that many (most?) discussions concerning the SDMB administration veer into criticisms of the staff, so it was decided to make the BBQ Pit the forum for those discussions, to forestall having to move the thread.
The only thing I have to add is, if “gay” is now considered a derogatory term for homosexuals, I officially give up on trying to be politically correct.
Get offended less.
Milos, “gay” is not an offensive term for gays unless it’s used as such (“Hey McLauchlin! You’re gay! You’re so gay… you’re a fag!” To which the only appropriate response is, “Yes, …and?”)
