"Accident" Destroys Mosque; 12 Killed

Is it common for mosques to store explosives? See:Currently.com - AT&T Yahoo Email, News, Sports & More
I was just wondering -how many religions incorporate explosives training in their religious instruction? :smack:

Is it common? Depends which country you’re talking about. Having your own army seems to be a perk in the Mid-East.

What I found interesting was the explanation that it may have been from a military exhibition as if having live ammunition is appropriate anywhere outside of an armoury. Also, the statement that the Imam was giving his usual “Shitte good, Wahabbi bad” speech was something new from a government-controlled media.

I don’t have a cite, but you’d be surprised how many do.

There’s lots of rival mosques, infidel churches, and abortion clinics that nned blowin’ up real good!

About 40 years ago, in the midst of the trend for “ecumenicism” in religions, the town ministerial group decided to arrange tours of other churches for their Wednesday morning religion classes.

When the Baptist kids toured our Catholic church, they were looking all over, and falling behind from the tour to explore in odd crawl spaces and so forth. Finally I asked one of them who was a friend just what the heck was going on. He said their minister had told them that if they looked hard enough, they would find the cache of guns the catholics kept hidden in their church, to aid in someday taking over the government. So they were all looking very hard to find that.

They must have missed the trap door under the altar.

I am shocked SHOCKED to learn that ammunition can be found inside places of worship in the Middle East.

They should keep it in their cars, like we do here in Florida.

According to the BBC

It’s entirely possible that this was nothing more than a stupid accident. Do you have any actual evidence to suggest otherwise?

If it wasn’t an accident, some crazy group would have claimed responsibility for it.
In fact, I’m surprised that a group hasn’t claimed responsbility even though it WAS an accident.

That’s the difference between the West and the Middle East. Our criminals deny responsibility even if there’s a videotape of them committing the act. Their criminals make videos of themselves taking responsibility for it even if they didn’t do it.

Munitions left on site? But wouldn’t that make it…
