I realize accupuncture is probably does not have any merit. However I tried acupuncture and during treatment I noticed my body start to rock back and forth and the treatment caused me to have to urinate very badly. In fact I could not make it through my entire session and I urinated for longer than I could ever remember. How could this be rationally explained. Accupuncturist mentioned something about this treatment would flush out bad energies and lit a candle near my feet.

Is this something he mentioned before, during or after the procedure?

It could be a coincidence, especially if it only happened once. That isn’t a satisfying answer and certainly would never make it into a TV show, but the facts don’t come from a script.

The last time I had to urinate like that, I tried lighting a candle, but the bartender made me put it out.

Then it was lucky you had a charged fire hose close at hand.
