Here is a link to a site which details North’s involvement in the Iran-Contra scandal. I know this is fairly lazy of me, but if anyone is interested, could you read the account and tell me if you agree as to its accuracy?
That’s really only a tiny fraction of the stuff Saint Ollie has done. The guy’s so scary that many strongly conservative Republicans campaigned for his opponents in his Senate race. Readers Digest did an article on him that pointed out a lot of his problems, which Ollie of course blamed on the “liberal media”. The fact that it was based on interviews with conservative ex-Bush officials and it’s Readers freaking Digest somehow still makes it “liberal media.” Check it out, June 1993.
The Boy Scouts of Georgia recently had him and Ann Coulter speak at a statewide meeting of scouts. “Moral experts” and all that. Scary, very scary.
