Yeah, the other day, I was playing with my Flexon glasses, against the suggestions of the guy who sold them to me. Eventually, they just snapped in half at the bridge. Duct tape/krazy glue isn’t really holding up that well, so if I take it to people like LensCrafters, will they be able to fix them at all, with a day or two, and a decent fee? My warrantee is over, I think, and I don’t think they cover intentional bending anyway.
Or am I gonna have to drop another $200 on new frames?
Are you a AAA member? I just got a wicked deal on LensCrafters glasses because I am an AAA member. You can also get coupons from LensCrafters Web site just by becoming a “member”. They give you like $50 off or something (i think AAA is 30% off).
And LensCrafters should be able to do them “in about an hour”
I thought the “about an hour” thing was for glasses that you buy. I figured my case would need them to be shipped to the manufacturers for repairs, since they would need like, a weld job or something. Also, how much should that cost?
I once accidentally broke my glasses, too. I went back to lenscrafters and they welded them back together within an hour for free. They just do it right there in the lab.
