I always think it’s weird when a project/band is started, and the founding members drop out, but what they created keeps living on and evolving without their input.
What active bands do you know of that have no original members left?

GWAR just lost their last and best original member Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) in 2014. I’m still very sad about it.
Here’s a 2YO thread that touches on the subject.
Badfinger
I think that Prick-a-lick Joey Molland is still out there using the name. He wasn’t strictly “original” but was part of the most well-know line-up, so only slightly egregious.
Here’s a story about this very topic.
And another.
The definitive answer is Renaissance, who had no original members remaining by their third album in 1971. Even with that lineup, only Annie Haslam remains – all other current members joined in 2001 or later.
The Little River Band hasn’t had any original members since 1998, and the only “classic” member remaining is Wayne Nelson (bassist and lead singer on “The Night Owls”). Again, all other current members are from the 21st century.
Yes lost its final original member when Chris Squire died in 2015. At least Steve Howe & Alan White still date back to the early days.
I thought you were going to be linking to this 2YO thread.
Or to put it another way, what Theseun bands are there?
Since Edgar Froese’s death in early 2015, Tangerine Dream.
