My favorite male lead in classic adult films from the 70’s and 80’s. One of the rare ones that could really act. John always made the films he was in better.

heart attack got him last weekend at 65. He had been married for 23 years. I recall reading he was originally a musician and sculptor before getting into films.

Oh man, that really is a shame. He really could act. We’ve lost so many of the greats of the Golden Age recently - Juliet “Aunt Peg” Anderson and Marilyn Chambers especially.

SexWorld, the rare case of the porn parody (of Westworld) that made more sense than the film that was being parodied. Seriously, if you had the technology to make perfectly realistic human cyborgs, what moron couldn’t think of anything better to do than play Cowboys and Indians with them? Leslie’s performance as a racist being seduced by a black girl (Desiree West) is one of my all-time favorite scenes.
Talk Dirty To Me was a great and funny role as well.
But if I could recommend only one film, I’d say Insatiable. Leslie’s scene with Jesse St. James is downright romantic.
