Vince Vaughn. I find him physically repulsive–especially his voice.
Chris Tucker. Possibly the shrillest, most annoying man on the planet.

tom cruise: add me to the official non-appreciation list. couldn’t stand him 20 years ago. the eeeeww! factor is now off the scale.
owen wilson: i challenge **priceguy ** to a duel: tv remotes at 25 paces. (winner gets to punch out wilson)
woody allen: the divemaster and i are in a dead heat on how much we loathe him.
will farrell: why god, WHY?!
adam sadler: the **hell ** were his parents thinking!?
I have an irrational hatred for Ralph Fiennes. I want to punch him in the face whenever I see him. Interestingly, under all the Voldemort make-up, he doesn’t bug me.
The list of actors I can’t stand to watch is pretty short:
Mickey Rourke
Steven Seagal, maybe?
Only Martin Lawrence.
Hated him, to the point of wanting to beat him, ever since his show.
Tom Cruise would annoy me, but honestly he makes me laugh so hard that I just consider him a joke. He’s the biggest current liability of scientology.
Rob Schneider
Woody Allen and Heather Graham. Woody for being a misogynistic asshole and Heather for having absolutely no acting talent at all.
Oh, good call; I feel that way ever since The English Patient.
And David Thewliss since Total Eclipse. I know I should see Naked but I can’t bring myself to do it.
Yes. That movie could have been complete shit and I would have loved it anyway just for that.
So, yeah. Me too. Also, Jean Claude blahblah and Jack Nicholson.
I find “hate” too strong an emotion to apply to actors and actresses, because if I don’t like them, or feel they should be in another line of work, I don’t pay much attention to them and go out of my way to avoid their products.
That said, actors and actresses that turned me off immediately:
Pauly Shore
Adam Sandler
Sandra Bernhard
Anne Heche
Rosie O’Donnell
Martin Lawrence
Mario Von Peebles
Sean Astin
If the term “actor/actress” is extended to people who have appeared in movies:
Britney Spears
Paris Hilton
Madonna
Is there an exception to the Simpson Rule? Anybody with the surname Simpson who can act?
I can’t stand Kirsten Dunst. Marie Antionette has been sitting on my DVR for months because my love of historical costume drama has yet to overcome my dislike for Dunst.
I adore Paul Bettany, and watching him with her in the movie *Wimbledon *was painful.
Eleanor - I’ve seen Marie Antionette and believe me there’s not a lot of history or drama going on in it (but there are a lot of pretty costumes).
Andie MacDowell.
I couldn’t even tell you why. She’s just so…irritating.
Poor syntax. Means Leelee Sobieski, not Will Smith…
I only hate Melanie Griffith. I can tolerate anyone else that has been mentioned.
In my case, it’s because she shat all over Four Weddings and a Funeral and came close to ruining Short Cuts. Although in the latter, her catatonic style didn’t hurt the part as badly.
Sarah Jessica “Seabiscuit” Parker and that Ferris Bueller no-talent she’s married to.
Renee “Squinty” Zellwegger
Melanie “tits” Griffith
Jennifer “explain my presence in film” Tilly
Jamie Lee “chromosome challenged” Curtis
Adam Sandler
Paulie Shore
Will Ferrell
That fat guy
That other fat guy
Oh hell, all former SNL hacks
Chris Tucker
Ryan Gosling
Gerard Depardieu
I hate her, too. I agree with the other poster–it’s probably all from “Four Weddings and a Funeral.” Then again, I loathed Julia Roberts in “Notting Hill” (loved the performances of Hugh and all his little friends, especially Tim McInerney). Maybe I just hate Hugh Grant’s leading ladies?
I also really hate Scarlet Johannssen for some reason.
I can’t stand:
-Mary astor
-William Powell
-Spencer Tracy
-Francis X. Bushman
I understand, even if I don’t agree with all of these.
Except Ryan Gosling! Huh? He’s fantastic. Of course, I was first exposed to him via “The Believer” which is a truly excellent film and he’s aces in it. Looking up his IMDB entry, I see a bunch of films I can imagine him being sucky in.
But you should see “the Believer” - it’s based on a true story of a Jewish member of the KKK…
