Let’s just put a moratorium on Keanu now, as it’ll save some bandwidth.
Billy Zane. This guy’s acting style just bugs the living shit of me. I really can’t explain it. But every time I see him, I want to get violent.
Natasha Lyonne. I’d rather be sodomized by a bull elephant seal than have to listen to that voice again.
Josh Hartnett. This squinty shit has got to stop. Act, already!
Freddie Prinze Jr. Dear God, has anyone made bigger pieces of utter crap than you? To think your dad killed himself because he couldn’t star in mainstream roles as shitty as the ones you’ve been in.
Danny DeVito - No believability in any character he plays since the mid-80s.
Jason Biggs - That face looks like it escaped from one of those black velvet sad-eyed puppy dog paintings.
Chris Tucker - a funny voice and attitude, that’s all. Nothing he says is funny beyond beyond that. I read a profile of him in the NY Times magazine that was positive but to me showed how shallow his abilities are and that he plays it more middle of the road than Will Smith but tries to act like he doesn’t.
Steve Martin - This goes beyond just his acting, but IMO probably the most overrated comedian of the past several decades. I hate his high brow stuff and I loathe his low brow material, it all seems too damn obvious to me. I can see a movie of his read one of his “humorous essays” and feel like I’m ahead of any joke he is setting up, and it’s not that kind of humor born of anticipation or riding the pauses like Jack Benny. Bowfinger had it’s moments, but most of them belonged to Eddie Murphy.
Spencer Tracy - Always came across as smug and arrogant to me. His dialogue in movies seems more like he is lecturing the other characters rather than interacting with them, even when it doesn’t fit the scene.
Gary Cooper - Yes a big star, but a lousy actor with no ability at accents and more wooden than an old growth forest.
My father hates, to the point of anger, the artistic stylings of Shirley MacLaine and Vincent D’Onofrio. The only actor I have a comparably visceral reaction to is Mindy Cohn, an affliction I find easy to manage.
Also Clint Eastwood. I have no reason. Well other then the fact that he appears to have just the one facial expression, mind you there are several actors like that, none of whom annoy me as much as Clint.
As far as Worst.Actor.Ever could someone please shoot Edward Woodward for me?
Eddie Murphy - used to be Funny, now he tries Too Hard, it is almost Forced.
Alec Baldwin - he should have gotten better with Age like wine, but not, I think he could have won an Oscar, but he just isn’t doing any good movies, just politics and badly.
Gilbert Godfried—it’s the face…no, it’s the voice…no, it’s that he’s totally unfunny as an actor (very funny doing comedy and as a guest on talk shows however).
