This is really random, but yesterday I was watching a 1989 episode of Murder, She Wrote featuring Lane Smith (the D.A. in My Cousin Vinny) and Mason Adams, who would later appear together in Son-In-Law (1993).

I was channel surfing once and caught an old movie with Peter Riegert and Mary Beth Hurt in it, and I remembered that they played a married couple in an episode of Law & Order. IMDb tells me the movie was Chilly Scenes of Winter, released in 1979 and very early in both their careers. The L&O episode came 17 years later.
