Actors who suddenly are EVERYWHERE

Ever notice how some character actors sudden seem to be appearing in just about every movie you go to see? Some examples:

Pete Postlethwaite – Best know as Kobyaashi (Sose’s representative) in “The Usual Suspects,” but he can be spotted in “Alien 3,” “Dragonheart,” “Amistad,” “Romeo+Juliet,” and “James and the Giant Peach.”

Jim Broadbent – I first noticed him as Gilbert in “Topsy Turvey,” but recently he’s been in “Little Voice,” “Moulin Rouge,” “Bridget Jones’s Diary,” “Richard III,” and “Widow’s Peak.”

Wayne Knight – the champion. It seemed like for a time there wasn’t a movie that didn’t feature Knight (he was in “Jurassic Park,” “To Die For,” “Basic Instinct,” and “Dead Again,” and did voices in “Tarzan” and “Toy Story 2”), along with recurring roles in both “Seinfeld” and “Third Rock from the Sun,” plus a bunch of commercials.

What others come to mind?

Helen Hunt. Everywhere since As Good As It Gets. EVERYWHERE!

I know, and Helen Hunt is kind of a butterface.

How about:

**JENNIFER LOPEZ

CHARLISE THERION (sp?)

STUART PANKIN

DANNY DEVITO**

I believe Harry Dean is the king of character actors. He’s getting older so maybe he’s slowing down a little.

He took over from noted character king, JT Walsh!

My pick currently? Jason Biggs or Freddie Prinze Jr. They’ve been all over the map. Unfortunately.

Mark Wahlberg seems to pop up with a great deal of frequency.

I don’t know the guy’s name, but he played Diane’s “husband” (?) in the last episode of Cheers, the one who got outed by his gay lover while Diane was trying to pretend they were married. Suddenly this guy was in EVERY sitcom in the known universe. I have no idea what his name was, but for a while he was the guest actor in many shows. It actually got kind of annoying to see him appear in sitcom after sitcom.
