She was in quite a few movies and tv

It’s a shame to see someone die so young. So far it looks like natural causes. :frowning:

Wow, I didn’t realize Lisa was nominated for her role in Officer and Gentlemen.

For someone not that well known, she won some pretty impressive awards. This lady had talent.

She was great in “Box of Moonlight.” RIP

I was very sad to learn of this. I thought she was so wonderful as the crazy stepmum in the great ahead-of-its-time show Profit.

Information on the cause of her death. That may be why she semi-retired and returned to her home state a few years ago.
She died with the a phone in her hand. I guess she was trying to call for help. It’s a shame, especially for her mom to find her 2 days later.

Ray McKinnon, her husband, is probably best known as the bonafide suitor in O Brother, Where Art Thou? and the preacher on Deadwood. If you’ve never seen that short film they won the Oscar for–The Accountant–it is very good and well worth hunting down.

RIP.
