And, if your tank has a lever on the side rather than a button on the top, can the roll be placed in the middle?
Also, does the roll need a dolly? And if so, which materials are acceptable? My Crazy Aunt insisted in the use of a handmade lace dolly, but I found it extremely inconvenient.

That wasn’t my intention, at all, and if you got that impression from my post, then I apologize. The point that I was ineligantly trying to make was that it wasn’t clear, in your original post, that you had intended it to be read by us as your original adaptation of the apocryphal story (you clarified it in later posts). As elbows said in post #4 of this thread: help us understand what (if any) discussion you’re hoping to have when you start a thread.
I’m not looking for satistfaction, but I will explain how to do it. If you want to add a link to one of your posts, there are two ways to do it:
You can turn some of the text of your post into a hotlink to another website. When you’re on the page of the site you want to link to, copy that web address (easiest way to do this is highlight the address in the address bar of that browser window, and press Control + C (or Command + C if you’re on a Mac).
Then, highlight the text in your post here on the SDMB (in the composition window, where you’ve been typing your post), and click on the icon at the top of the composition window that looks like a blue-and-green globe with a couple of chain links beneath it. That’ll create a pop-up window into which you add the web address (press Control + V, or Command + V on a Mac). Hit “OK”, and your link has been added to your post as a hotlink.
Or, altnernately, if you don’t want to make a hotlink, and just add the link directly, highlight the address of the other web page with Control + C, put your cursor here in the composition window where you want to add the link. When you submit your post, the link will be an active link in your post.
For example, here’s a link to a story on BBC News about Brexit:
