Saw a trailer for this before Punch Drunk Love. I am completely intrigued. Though stupid Limited Release probably won’t be coming to my town any time soon. I’ll be first in line to see this on opening night, whenever it does show up.
One of my favorite parts about this movie (already) is trying to explain to other people what it’s about. I get all tongue tied and frustrated but it makes me respect the movie even more. How sad that a film w/o a clear cut plot line is suddenly original in Hollywood.
And I hear that the “twin” brother to Charlie Kaufman (Danny Kaufman?) has writing credits for this movie or is in the Writer’s Guild or something even though he’s totally fictional?
If this movie is as interesting as I think it will be – and how could it not be with Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman working together again – it’ll probably forgive all the past career sins and transgressions of Nicholas Cage. IMO.
