Needed Anymore? Depends on job type?
I would but I’m old fashioned.
I don’t have one on mine, and I don’t think it’s helped or hindered me. I do live and work in a major metropolitan area (London), so it’s definitely assumed I’ll be able to commute easily to the job if it’s in London as well. The rules might be different for a more spread-out area.
The purpose of putting an address is so they know whether you’re local to the job you’re applying for or whether you’d have to relocate. I wouldn’t leave it out. I don’t know if it will make them automatically bin your resume without an address, but putting it on there (if you’re local) can only help you.
I just have my name, phone, and email. And it’s a good idea to have a professional email. Not like something like misspinksassy. Which I encountered.
