Adjusting an HP 6840 deskjet printer

I have a customer that prints invoices. She used to have an Epson 860 printer and is now using an HP 6840. With the HP it happens that the printing starts one or two lines earlier on a form. We can either adjust the printer or the form (not the invoicing software, AFAIK). Is there a simple way to tell an HP 6840 (color deskjet) to start printing one or two lines lower on a form?

FTR, I am not tech support but I am trying to prevent her from having to redesign the form (and then redesign it again when they get a new printer). Also, fwiw, the HP 6840 is no longer for sale and I can’t seem to find any support from HP’s site.
