I am playing this on the DS like it’s crack and I’m a robot that runs on crack. Anyone else?
Who’s your favorite CO? I haven’t even seen them all yet, as I’ve been playing a lot of War Room. I haven’t actually finished the storyline because I’m obsessed with beating my best times on certain maps. 
I wish this thing had a wifi internet multiplayer mode like Sk8land. I suppose it’s inevitable, though, in a future version.
I might get smacked down for resurrecting this thread, but I prefer to think of it as a bump. I’ve got this game so far under my skin, I’ve got … er … a DS-shaped bump under my skin, and a wife who thinks I’m a loon.
Got Jake up to 11th, ran through story mode twice in “easy,” starting “hard” now, just picked up “Black Hole Rising” on ebay to see what an earlier version was like, and I agree - I’d love to go broadcast wifi with this puppy, and take all comers. THAT would be a hoot. I’m tired of having my nose wiped by the AI.
I knew there had to be somebody else! I haven’t played earliers myself, would love to hear what it’s like. Wifi is definitely the future, I can’t see it not happening. I just picked it up again myself, so your bump (no posters, no new games since then, I think we’re safe) is timely. I actually never finished Story Mode and dove into the heads-up AI play without looking back, and now I’m working on beating all the maps as fast as possible. The replay value on this sumbitch is unreal. I highly recommend it to all DS gamers who like strat/tactics games at all.
Seconded. Now, have you played that “real-time” game section at all? I can’t get behind that. It’s more like an arcade game, and loses that strategic edge. If I wanted to drive around, shooting at little tanks, I’d play something else entirely. Not quite sure what, but something else.
