As Mrs Aruns’ birthday, halfway through April, gets closer, I’m planning a little romantic trip for the two of us. I’m thinking of going to the Isle of Man, so I’d like to ask some advice, especially from those Dopers that actually live there.
Is the weather good enough in April? Is it more convenient to fly in, travel by ferry with a car, without it?
You could have a look here for basic touristy information.
The weather in April’s going to be pretty much the same as the mainland UK from the look of things. As for getting there and getting around, if you plan to see a lot of the island then you may be better off going by ferry with a car.
There’s plenty of heritage stuff to see and do, just think yourself lucky you’re not going in June when the island is swarming with crazy bikers!
