Very few people would; it’s a computer programming joke and I guess none of the other resident programmers around here bother with IMHO.
Personally, I’m not fond of facial hair on servers. If you’re going to wear a beard, keep it impeccably groomed. Also, I know money is tight, but do invest in at least one good pair of work shoes. They will pay for themselves many times over.
The restaurant and menu sound great! And, unless things have changed a lot since my waitressing/bartending days, I suspect that your outdoor smoking section will be your best tipping section - more drinks and fewer kids.
Already in place. I haven’t gone without a beard for the past 13 years, which is why I’m hesitant to shave it off.
No worries about that. Not only is it a pet peeve of mine, it’s a huge one of the head chefs as well. To use his own words:
