I found a perfect space to add a second location to my business that is in a town 10 miles from my current location.
Keeping tabs won’t be that difficult at this stage because of the close proximity, however I plan on growing my business as much as possible.
Here is the real issue with expansion:
A POS system is impossible to integrate (I think) being that the product in the store is damages, overstocks, or items that we get 1 of a year.
With the damages and overstocks the UPC code is usually destroyed or scratched out.
So, what is my best course of action to make sure the stores stay stocked with what they need?
Just train good managers?
Should I instead franchise the business model and leave the stock worries to the franchisees?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
