Advice needed about transporting frozen pizzas

We are driving about four hours to see our daughter tomorrow. She has asked that we stop at her favorite pizza place in Champaign and pick up five large frozen pizzas, which means we will have them in the car for three hours.

I don’t have a big cooler, and I don’t really want to buy one for this. What is the best way to get them up to her with the least amount of thawing? It should be in the 60s tomorrow.

you could wrap them up in several towels, or a blanket or two, especially if you include a couple of ice packs.

Pizza’s not going to thaw in 3 hours, just leave them on the seat in the open

Thanks. Both of those are easy options for me, and that’s what I like!

blanket (which you put in the freezer) wrap around the pizzas.

put the pizzas tied together in a garbage bag. put an empty garbage bag on top of blankets. put a bag of ice in this bag. then bag with pizzas on top in the bag. then another bag of ice on the pizzas. then wrap with blankets.

You can get one or two of those insulated “cooler” bags.
