Advice on Book on Israel/Palestine Peace Process?

It’s been a while since we’ve had an Israel debate…and I don’t want one now. Really! Please!

What I’d like is recommendations on a decent book that might serve to bring me up to date on Israel/Palestinian peace efforts today. A book that mentions Kerry and Clinton more than Kissinger and Balfour.

Obviously, any such book will be obsolete by the time it’s published, but maybe something kind of current?

Obviously, anything anyone could recommend will be rejected by others as biased. But maybe something moderate enough that nearly everyone can grudgingly say, “Well, yeah, it’s about as close to fair as one could hope…” Something extremists on both sides might reject?

Great Debate threads on the subject often delve down into incredibly fine and minute details, and I get left behind. But I want to read something on the subject that’s a little more nuanced than just “Israel and Palestine for Dummies.”

(Although…if anyone could recommend a good book like that, too, I might benefit from it.)
