Advice Sought re: Answering Service

Well, I’ve finally had it with my (*&^ voice-mail. I’m losing business because (a) it doesn’t work very well; and (b) a lot of people hang up on it.

Does anyone have some advice about choosing an answering service? Obviously I want something reliable and friendly to my callers. How much can I expect to pay? Is it worth it?

Any reccomendations? (I am a solo practitioner attorney in the NYC area.)

Find ten other solo practitioner attorneys in the NYC area and ask them who they use.

That’s my sole piece of advice.

Buy one of our digital auto-attendant voice mail systems (under $1000!). We even make backup systems for your voice mail for people like you who may need to save calls on a regular basis.
