I purchase most of my auto parts at Advance Auto. They always seem to have what I need, or for special things, can obtain it within a day or so, for a decent price, with helpful, friendly counter people.

Given the fact that he hasn’t been back since he posted his two masterpieces, and the fact that this isn’t the only message board he made these comments on yesterday, I doubt he’ll return.

I also love how he didn’t even bother to retype it from one to the other, he just copied and pasted it word for word, even the stupid periods at the end. This guy just made my day.

Same here. The staff at the local Advance stores have always been courteous to me. (Unlike the local NAPA, where you apparently have to know a secret handshake or password to get waited on.)

NAPA doesn’t need to be nice to civilians because they charge so much more for parts that they know you won’t come back.

Serious question:

You work in an auto parts store. I’m guessing your job involves listening to what the customer wants, entering the part number(s) into the computer to check stock, keying in the order and printing the ticket, then going to the bin locations to pull the product and return it to the counter to complete the transaction, yes?

Do you make a lot of mistakes? I’m guessing the butt kisser doesn’t, and that’s why he was promoted to a full time position.

Yeah, they scamper right out to put my new windshield wipers on and never make me feel bad about not doing it myself. I like them, myself.
