For the Indy/NE game, I don’t think the Colts will prevail over Tom Brady’s weapons available to him. While they defended Denver’s passing attack well, NE seems more balanced. Plus, Gronk is a monster.
GB/Sea is a little tougher for me to predict. Tho loads of people are pointing to the Beast Mode and suffocating D, Sea has proven themselves vulnerable. Seriously, tho, AT Seattle? I think they do win, tho it may be an ugly game.
The Packers have not lost a playoff game to Seattle. The Seahawks have not lost a playoff game in the Clink. It will almost certainly not be the fall fall, probably be as close as last year’s championship game, could get either way.
I think the Packers loss to Buffalo that took the home field to Seattle is what decides the NFC title. Personally I hope I’m wrong since I do happen to be part owner of one of the teams.
I really want the Packers and Colts to win, which means we’re definitely getting a Patriots/Seahawks Super Bowl, sigh.
Me too, but I think it means… well, that “We may yet, Mr. Magnus. We may yet see them in Superbowl…”
Today’s the day.
What a bizarre week for the Colts. A very odd rape accusation against Josh McNary, Trent Richardson missing the game for ‘personal reasons’ and now Xavier Nixon misses the team flight? I didn’t give the Colts much of a chance in this game but all these stories makes me think this is a blowout
Well, I’m nervous. As with the Cowboys last week, the Packers’ opponent this week matches up well against the Packers. Another strong running team that can just wear down a defense. Unfortunately, Seattle also has a dominant defense, unlike the Cowboys, so it’s not a great situation for the Pack.
What gives me hope was how damn well the offensive line played last week protecting a gimpy Aaron Rodgers and how the defense actually did pretty well overall against DeMarco Murray. If they can do that again, and if Rodgers can be Rodgers, the Packers have a chance.
I am a bit surprised that they are such underdogs, but if Rodgers is as immobile as he was last week, I can understand the thinking. Seattle is a tough place to play, and Lynch is huge in the playoffs. I just wish Rodgers wasn’t so gimpy.
Should be a good game.
Tillamook (Oregon) cheese is better than the stuff that comes from Wisconsin.
I guess I’m rooting for a 1996 rematch for no other reason than franchise history. The Pack is one of the originals, and is a quality organization top to bottom so that always gets my support all other things being equal. And the Patriots didn’t pack up their shit and leave town in the middle of the night, so I guess I give them the nod.
It’s hard to muster up any kind of rooting interest, though.
I’m unbearable on Facebook today. Go Hawks!!
The first week of the season, when the Seahawks weren’t as good and Rogers was healthy, Seattle won decisively. I just don’t see how GB can win with Rogers hurt.
same
I’m pretty much meh except I hate the Pats.
On the NFC pregame show, the Lynch gold cleats issue sounds ridiculous, if true.
The league is threatening to pull him from the game for non compliance. Good grief! Wear the approved uniform! Aside from him being a great RB, he seems like a very odd young man.
I’m rooting for Green Bay & Indianapolis, but… I think Seattle & NE will win them.
Green Bay is simple mathematics (if they hold up). Seahawks are allowing 21.5 points in home games and scoring avg. 27.5 ppg. The Packers are used to letting 24-28 points against them due to super Rodgers and the Offensive Bunch. (Band name). Seashawks defense isn’t going to let 31 points happen for GB.
Last time NE played Colts, NE KILLLLLLED them. By wha was it, 30 points?? Either way, a Colts win, no matter how great Luck is, requires a bad day for Brady.
Og I hate Joe Buck.
Wow. All these penalties and first downs are making Seattle sound kinda quiet!
WHOOOP- Never mind.
