I read that the age of consent in illinois is 17, but does that mean that a 17 year-old can legally have sex with someone of any age? Is it illegal for a 17 year old girl to have sex with someone who’s like 26 or something>? thanx
Sure, with the folks permission you can get married lower than that in many states.

In Florida, there are several laws governing who can have sex with who. Though 16 is the age of consent here, a 16 yo cannot have sex with a person over 23. Errr, make that: A person over 23 cannot have sex with a 16 yo. The 16 yo doesn’t committ the crime, the 24 yo does.
Maybe IL is similar?
