Well, got a letter here from State Farm, my auto insurance folks. I’d better see what iit is.
It’s a notice of a change in my coverage. Specifically a notice of an age classification change.
And a check for 174 bucks! Whoohoo!

Wait until they ask you if you want the Senior Citizen’s Discount on coffee at McD’s. Then you’ll really feel great.
Heh. I think that’s still about 15 years out.
I think.
Wait until you’re older than all of your doctors.
We had a doctor we called (among ourselves) Doogie - he looked like he was 12. I liked him a lot and had no complaint about the care we received from his practice, but it was cause for pause the first time I met him. Wish I still lived in that town - I don’t like my current Dr, who’s also younger than I.
And I’m waiting for my invitation to join AARP come January. I want one of those “I’m a Senior Citizen - Where’s my damn discount?!?” T-shirts!
Hmm…, I had Senior Cirizen pegged at 65. I joined AARP this spring.
And I did consider my his age (younger) when choosing a doctor to age with.
Ringo, are you saying you’re 65? No way! When I met you, I thought you much younger…
There’s no way you’re 65. Was that a typo?
I’m turning 60 in July! During the next decade, I want to travel Europe on my own. I haven’t been since 1972.
Just this morning I made a reservation for one at a Left Bank hotel. (I’ve never been to Paris.) It’s for next April, but it will take me that long to save up enough.
Hubby is staying home. He doesn’t like to fly.
There are advantages to growing older and one of them is to stop putting off the things you really want to do.
Still to come: the British Isles, Spain, the Alps – who knows?
Hi Heloise! No, not 65 (yet). I just turned 50.
Zoe, you go, girl!
Kids. I’m surrounded by kids.
Tough, ain’t it LouisB? Surrounded by those who think themselves invincible.
