What do people think of the idea that Bakshi is still under Ward/33’s control and this was all part of their plan? They wanted to get people inside Hydra for their own purposes, and with Bakshi as a mole. The obvious problem is that they didn’t know about Sparky but Bakshi is smart enough to adapt when given the opportunity.
A bigger problem with this is that Mike clearly not knowing about what’s going on - and he never would be taken that easily if Sparky hadn’t compromised his systems. It just seems like they set up the brainwashing of Bakshi and if it was all for nothing then it makes all the other brainwashing pointless.
That’d probably piss off Skye pretty much forever, and he’s obviously still fixated on her. He looked like a kid in a candy shop when he said “This is about Skye…”, like “My crush is going to be here!!!”
Which 33 was pretty darned thrilled to find out, I’m sure.
Isn’t that part of his power, that he always knows when somebody needs to get picked up?

Because he knows they’re hunting specifically him, or he will once Skye has a chance to say two sentences, unless she’s an idiot and has a dewy-eyed father-daughter bonding moment… well, crap.
Yes, but it’s basically a get out of jail free card for lazy writing. Within the context of the universe it’s fine, but I find it to be bad plotting.

I’m not going to read the spoiler, but I would like to know the in-universe viewing order. When Hydra came out of SHIELD in S1, it was pretty important to watch CA:tWS first, then the rest of S1. I’m assuming that any episodes released after May 1 may have spoilers for Ultron. In fact, since the UK release already happened, I’m a little worried about spoilers in this week’s ep.
I wouldn’t worry about spoilers. It’s more likely that the TV show just references some things that would have happened just before AoU begins.

Well there were definitely Winter Soldier spoilers in Season 1. I don’t know why it’d be different with Ultron.
I’ve seen Age of Ultron, and as best as I can tell, there’s nothing in the current AoS arc that would have a major effect, or anything more than a small reference. Agents of Shield seems to be more setting up tensions between the powered and the non-powered that will culminate in Cap: Civil War.
Speculation, not based on Age of Ultron. I’ll put it in spoilers, just in case, but I think I’m just going by what’s been in AoS so far.
[spoiler]I think Gonzales is just as good a guy as Coulson thinks he is. I’ve been waiting for Coulson to go and talk to Gonzales, as I consider it the next logical step. Gonzales doesn’t strike me as a completely unreasonable, shoot first type.
I’m not so sure about Gonzales’ lieutenants, however. I think the one guy (whose name I can’t remember) is not a good guy. I don’t think he’s Hydra; I think he just hates/fears powered people. Remember, he took the first opportunity to try to eliminate Skye, shooting at her with a real gun. I’m a little suspicious of the Academy lady as well.
I think that Coulson and Gonzales will end up working together to try to manage the more trigger-happy lieutenants. I wouldn’t be surprised if Nick made a quick appearance to encourage that.[/spoiler]
Because IIRC Winter Solder came out in the middle of the season, Ultron is coming out when there’s literally just one episode left.
Don’t need to try and cater the storyline this season, just pause it til next and not have to worry about anything getting spoiled
What they said. AoS seems to be setting up CA:CW, not AoU. Especially with the spin-off announced. Marvel may be playing a long game with AoS here.
Joss says Coulson will remain dead in the Avengers universe.
It’s sort of a multiverse thing. Don’t comics do that all the time, until a new manager comes along and insists that all universes get back in line or they will be dropped?
